We have not one, but TWO new certifications to celebrate! In addition to our trusty ISO 9001, we now also have ISO 14001 and ISO 45001!

Open position - Key Account Manager
As our new Key Account Manager, you will play a central role in maintaining and developing relationships with our existing customers. You will also identify new opportunities in growth areas such as renewable energy and land-based industry. Your focus and ability to build relationships will be crucial to our continued success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales outreach and development of new customer relationships
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and follow-up of sales plans.
- Maintain and strengthen our existing customer contacts.
- Prepare quotes and follow up projects with our technical department for customized solutions.
- Participate in trade fairs and marketing activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Have sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial sales.
- Radiates enthusiasm for meeting customers and building relationships.
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry and a genuine interest in renewable energy.
- Have a solid technical understanding, preferably with experience in instrumentation or related fields.
- Is result-oriented, self-driven and has excellent communication skills.
- Enjoy an active everyday life where being on the move is part of the job
- Is courageous and has a strong ability to execute.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

15 years of innovation and collaboration in the North Sea
In 2009, Håland Instrumentering MSA - The Safety Company introduced its Senscient ELDS Laser line gas detector to the Norwegian oil and gas market.
Our goal was clear:
✅ Improve reliability with faster response times.
✅ Eliminate false alarms.
✅ Reduce maintenance costs for operators.
✅ Be able to offer line gas detectors for detection of CO2, NH3, H2S, CH4
Fifteen years later, Håland Instrumentering has become one of the largest distributors of ELDS detectors in the region. We are proud to have contributed to increased safety and efficiency for operators in the North Sea.

Control valve seminar
Last week, Torjus Wiik and Alexander Middleton attended a course organized by Masoneilan Control Valves. An extremely useful and educational seminar where we focused on solutions for demanding applications. In addition to three days of professional replenishment, there was also time for a tour and tasting at De Koninck beer brewery and a visit to the Belgian representative for Masoneilan, Equans BeLux.
Before boarding the plane home, we received a European award for our growth in Mooney products, a pleasant surprise at the end of a great seminar.

Long-term agreement signed with Optronics
Håland Instrumentering has entered into a new agreement with Optronics Technology ASto be their distributor in Norway.
- We have already been working with Optronics for quite some time and it feels good to now formalize this in a new long-term agreement," says CEO Kjell Magne Aase.
Optronics Technology is a company that specializes in optical gas detection. It develops and manufactures high-tech gas detectors used in various industries, including oil and gas, maritime, mining and biogas. The PG11 and PGE11 gas detectors from Optronics are SIL certified by TUV and Marine approved by DNV. The IR point gas detector is adapted to the harsh environments of offshore installations, ships and land-based facilities.
