In 2009, Håland Instrumentering MSA – The Safety Company introduced its Senscient ELDS Laser line gas detector to the Norwegian oil and gas market.

Our goal was clear:

✅ Improve reliability with faster response times.
✅ Eliminate false alarms.
✅ Reduce maintenance costs for operators.
✅ Be able to offer line gas detectors for detection of CO2, NH3, H2S, CH4

Fifteen years later, Håland Instrumentering has become one of the largest distributors of ELDS detectors in the region. We are proud to have contributed to increased safety and efficiency for operators in the North Sea.
As part of our strong partnership, we are pleased to announce the renewal of our Channel Partner agreement with MSA Safety until 2027. We thank MSA Safety for their professionalism and technical expertise and look forward to continuing our collaboration. 🤝
