INEOS Bamble AS<\/h4>\n

Location: R\u00f8nningen Industrial Area, Bamble<\/strong>Period: 2016 – 2017<\/strong>Client: INEOS Bamble AS<\/strong>Application: safety valve<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
Pilot operated safety valve with high maintenance frequency due to limited lifetime of some internal parts.
\nThe challenges were large fluctuating process pressure pulses and process pressure very close to set pressure.
\nMaintenance of the safety valve required a shutdown of the relevant production line.
\nManufacturer BH Consolidated worked with the customer to develop a solution based on a well-proven and existing pilot-operated safety valve.
\nConsisting of a double pilot operated safety valve on the same unit and a shuttle valve to direct the flow through each pilot valve as required using a manual shuttle handle.
\nThis solution enables continuous operation with shuttering between pilots.
\nWhere one of two pilots on the safety valve can be removed for maintenance.
\nTwo complete valve units were ordered and installed on each of the main production lines. <\/p>\n
