The challenges included large fluctuations in process pressure pulses and process pressure very close to the set pressure.<br \/>\nMaintenance of the safety valve required shutting down the affected production line. <\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer, BH Consolidated, developed a solution in collaboration with the customer based on a well-proven, existing pilot-operated safety valve. It consists of a double pilot-operated safety valve on the same unit and a diverter valve to direct the flow through each pilot valve as needed using a manual diverter handle. <\/p>\n<p>This solution enables continuous operation with shunting between the pilots, allowing one of the two pilots on the safety valve to be removed for maintenance. <\/p>\n<p>Two complete valve assemblies were ordered and installed on each of the main production lines.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Double pilot operated safety valve with shuttering between valves for continuous operation<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H\u00e5land Instrumentering AS responsibility and deliveries:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish contact between the manufacturer&#8217;s product expert and the customer&#8217;s maintenance specialist.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange a site visit with the manufacturer&#8217;s expert for a tour and discussion of the details of the challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediary between customer and manufacturer in the communication leading up to a new and finished product.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up production progress and update customers.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange and carry out training and inspection before delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on minor changes to the design after inspection and before delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Spare parts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other lifetime extensions from H\u00e5land Instrumentering AS:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; Fire and gas field equipment<br \/>\n\u2013 Level and flow upgrades<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New safety valve solution avoids production shutdown under demanding operating conditions<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":[],"categories":[],"class_list":["post-80372","kundehistorier","type-kundehistorier","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 -
