Latest news from Magnetrol Guided Wave Radar
Håland Instrumentering AS, in collaboration with Magnetrol International, launches the latest version of the ECLIPSE Model 706 guided wave radar (GWR) transmitter. The radar is today the best in its class, and can be used on various types of applications for both top level and interface level measurements.
Magnetrol ECLIPSE Model 706 is designed to achieve high accuracy, high safety combined with maximum availability. This makes the product applicable in most critical measurements within today’s process industry. The latest generation transmitter includes the following:
Improved Signal Processing – The ECLIPSE Model 706 electronic circuitry provides a significantly more powerful output pulse, resulting in a better resolution of the echo curve itself. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 3x better than comparable competing products. The sum of this ensures operators a precise measurement for their application even at extremely low dielectric values, large measurement areas, foam or other demanding process variables.
Overfill-proof probes – Magnetrol is the only guided wave radar manufacturer in the market to offer a complete range of overfill-proof probes. The ECLIPSE Model 706 probes measure real level right up to the bottom of the process flange. This is very important in order to guarantee a reliable measurement. Improved diagnostics – future users of the ECLIPSE Model 706 will have access to a more optimized user interface. A dedicated LCD screen presents direct echo and trend curves. In addition, the ECLIPSE Model 706 can be pre-calibrated before delivery so that the actual start-up of the equipment can be done in the most cost-effective way possible.
The ECLIPSE Model 706 transmitter offers a safe and cost-effective level and interface meter. The meter is not affected by process changes such as density, dielectric value, pH, viscosity or other process variables.
The ECLIPSE Model 706 is the latest generation of GWRs from Magnetrol.
Magnetrol launched the first generation of ECLIPSE Model 705 radars back in 1999.
This was the first two-wire loop-powered radar for industrial use in level measurement.
