Status lights and speakers

These are specially developed for harsh environmental conditions, where there is a risk of explosion due to flammable gases both offshore and onshore.
MEDC is a market leader in its field and has an extensive range of manual call points, alarm lights, alarm horns, status lights, loudspeakers and other alarm devices. These are manufactured for harsh environments and are available in stainless steel, aluminum or GRP.

MEDC currently has around 100 models, each available in a wide range of variants. The units have all the necessary approvals such as ATEX/CENELEC, UL, ULC, CSA, FM, SGS, GOST R & K, INMETRO, Chinese (CQST), PTB and IECEx.

Through its large worldwide network, MEDC has acquired knowledge of the various local regulations and guidelines around the world, including Norway. MEDC, which is part of the Cooper Safety division, employs around 180 people and is located in Sutton Ashfield, Nottingham, UK.
