Senscient, now part of the worldwide safety equipment manufacturer MSA, was founded in 2004 by Mr. Lee Richman.
With the improved laser technology that Senscient has developed and applies to its new laser line gas detectors, called ^ELDSTM (Enhanced Laser Diode Spectroscopy) combined with Senscient’s patented ^SimuGasTM test function, we get a very stable detector with a very high availability.
Senscient ^ELDSTM laser line gas detectors detect a wide range of toxic and combustible gases down to PPM level.
In addition, it can also be delivered in a combined unit that detects both methane and H2S.

Senscient ELDS

Senscient ^ELDSTM Cross Duct for ventilation ducts can detect combustible gases at distances from 0.5 meters to 5 meters.
The detectors are highly sensitive and can have a target range of 0-10% LEL with a response time of 1 second (T90=1second).
In addition, Senscient has created a model called Ventilation Zone, which has the same good properties as the Cross Duct model, but the Ventilation Zone model can be mounted in open areas in front of air ducts or larger doors into secure areas.
