The flame detectors from Fire & Gas Detection Technology (FGD) are designed for safe detection and are immune to false alarms. The detectors can be used in harsh areas – such as offshore and onshore as well as hydrogen plants, ships, marine etc.

FGD’s flame detectors in the FlameSpec series with camera are available as IR3 (triple IR), IR3 for hydrogen or UV/IR.

The flame detectors detect different types of fires at long distances with very fast response times. Including natural gas, methane, hydrogen, methanol etc.

The detectors automatically record video of detected fires and store this in the flame detector (1 min before and 3 min after the event occurred).

FGD also has a full range of camera-less flame detectors. These are available as IR3 (triple IR), IR3 for hydrogen or UV/IR flame detectors.
